Antonio Davis, San Francisco-born and Milwaukee-raised, is a creative strategist and fine-art documentary photographer. He resides in Milwaukee, where his work focuses on human-interest stories for mission-driven organizations alongside self-commissioned projects, including Absorb, The Crown She Wears, and The Ideas of ‘76.

His creativity was birthed through writing, specifically poetry. He rediscovered photography as an undergrad at UW-Oshkosh, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Photography is a part of his repertoire he uses to connect with the physical and digital world. It’s a medium that speaks as deeply to him as writing.

Antonio has spent more than a decade as a creative partner committed to storytelling and visual excellence. That commitment has earned his imagery a place in Northwestern Mutual’s Sustainability and Social Impact Report (2023), shaped the foundation of MKE Tech Hub Coalition’s visual asset library (2022-25), and led to a partnership with Bader Philanthropies (2025), where he was commissioned to produce an archive of more than 500 photographs, over fifty of which are permanently installed at its headquarters.
